We are delighted to confirm that Ben Hinchliffe will remain at Edgeley Park this summer, after agreeing terms to become the club's new Head of Goalkeeping.

Ben Hinchliffe has retired from playing and has been appointed as #StockportCounty's Head of Goalkeeping.

The legendary County 'keeper's final appearance as a player will come in his testimonial against Preston in August.

Hinchliffe: "I’m so proud and grateful to be trusted with this exciting new opportunity. It was a difficult decision to call time on my playing career, but I always knew this day would come."
