[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@LandRover_IE @marketingelves @LandRoverRugby a simple "The winner has been notified, announcement coming Friday" would have been sufficient

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@LandRover_IE @marketingelves the complete surprise when TV3 announced they had a winner.Should have been put to bed sooner.Lessons learned?

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@LandRover_IE numerous people asked what was happening, complete silence on Twitter and Facebook despite numerous favourites of other tweets

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@marketingelves @LandRoverRugby before it is announced on national TV is bizzare. The silence from @LandRover_IE was crazy. They were kids.

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@marketingelves @LandRover_IE @LandRoverRugby to run a competition over social media and then not even announce that there is a winner 1/2

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@redj1971 @LandRover_IE unfortunately not, we just happen to share the same name.

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@redj1971 definite entry, it's on Facebook. Just more surprised @LandRover_IE aren't shouting about it. #socialmediafail

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

Badly handled piece of social media by @LandRover_IE but congratulations to the winner. #WeDealInReal #ireland

[Paul Treacey @PaulTreacey]

@marketingelves no we just share a name and county by the looks of it. I'll take the prize though. 😂
