Rudi Lien—THUNDER is a mission concept for a New Frontiers class Titan orbiter. It’d use spectroscopy, radar, and gravity to examine how Titan’s hydrocarbons move across/within Titan. #LPSC2024
If I'm not at my poster on Enceladus jets (Poster 3307), I'm probably seeing @ThePlanetaryGuy presenting some of our work, which you should also check out #AGU23
Be sure to come learn about our simulations of the cryovolcanic conduit and jets of Enceladus at poster 3307 at #AGU23 tomorrow/Thursday afternoon.
I'll be at my poster from 14:00 to 14:45 and 15:45 to 16:30.
@OSPyoutube In the Butlerian Jihad prequels written by Herbert's son, the thinking machines that are fought are controlled by a single AI but there is no telecom network. Copies of the AI are transported between star systems physically to keep each planet "consistent".
Looking for some co-convener for an #AGU2023 science session proposal. It will focus on #communityscience and #climatechange !! We’ll get to host a nice little session and learn about awesome projects! 🌊

long enough, we tend to reject any evidence of the bamboozle. We're no
longer interested in finding out the truth. … Once you give a charlatan power over you, you almost never get it
back."
@Moose_Juice_13 @damndanl Welcome to the computational physics side of planetary science! I'm sure you'll do fine, but feel free to reach out if needed.
@alyssacmills96 I just woke up and so might be wrong, but I don't think it can be linearized in its current form. You might be able to modify it closer if you use an approximation (such as for very small x values), but even then I'm not sure.
Really enjoyed this study on the mechanical properties and rheology or @Oreo cookies!
Will need to validate these results with my Geomechanics team after Ramadan!
