In a wild follow up to this, Westlaw tried to say the researchers that found 1 in 6 (!) false responses from their AI tools were "auditing the wrong product". So those researchers asked for access the "right" product and found hallucinations in... 1 in 3 responses 🤦🏾‍♀️

The BBC has now completely lost its moral bearings on Gaza, and seems terrified to report any news that in any way incriminates Israel-- indeed it is incapable of calling out the mass murder of civilians for what it is. Instead it takes refuge in headlines about Israeli enquiries that will never happen, Netanyahu apologies that are utterly disingenuous, 'explosions' that happen without agency and 'dead' Palestinians who appear to drop down lifeless of their own accord.

It represents a massive failure of nerve by the corporation and shows a complete absence of any sense of justice, history, empathy or ethics.
