@davidaxelrod Wrong guy to pick on for this. He does yeoman’s work. Anyway, the easiest solution to the explosion of data for old-timers like us is to pay attention to OPS and WAR. Those two metrics are the best catch-all for hitters. For the pitchers it’s still ERA and WHIP.

@Matt_Goodfell @RufusTSuperfly That is true for the super hero comics which ceased being for kids a long time ago. Where the industry is really growing are the graphic novels for kids that are about kids like Jennifer Holm’s wonderful Sunny series. Marvel and DC are clueless.
