@L0m3z@KurtSchlichter As I was watching this podcast, it felt like you talked yourself out of your earlier skepticism and into a “plan truster” on the fly. I’m with you.
@JoshRainerGold “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”

@NickJFreitas You leftists were right about cancel culture. So go ahead and call our jobs and tell them that we don’t believe that there are 900 genders and we’ll call yours and tell them you danced on the grave of a 31 year old father because of his opinions. Let’s keep score.
One strange thing on the whole "move to top-5 city permanently, seek wealth / status, never go home again" thing is that it's extremely new.
Used to be normal to leave one's small town, get rich in the city, and then come home. Build libraries, schools.
Noblesse oblige.
These days, with the internet and commercial aviation, it'd be easier than ever to do that. If you were a millionaire and showed up in a ragged old town, cleaned it up, made it great and vibrant again (not by gentrifying but by actually listening to locals and building what they want to see) -- you would be absolutely beloved.
Yet absolutely no one does this anymore. Around here, there are constant reminders that this kind of thing used to be common -- beautiful bridges, parks, libraries, dams, roads, railroads, etc.
Why did it end? Why don't young people dream of doing this anymore?
If they did, it sincerely could "make America great again" in a way that the government is not capable of doing.
