@MayfieldOldham the year 6 leavers show was amazing ๐ Congrats to all involved. Also Ben's sats results, Miss Davys we did cry!! Thank you to the year 6 team Miss Davys, Mrs Davies, and Mrs Howard for getting Ben to believe himself and achieve the results he deserved. So proud
@RS73193748@PipRoberts1@NeilHackett14@SocialistNHS Yes we don't care that's why we strike because it's unsafe to our patients. That's why we cry with our patients and our patients families when they get bad news or do pass away. That's why we stay behind after our shifts to make sure our patients are getting the care they need..
@NeilHackett14@SocialistNHS I work in theatres and I can assure you we haven't postponed any surgeries due to strike action. They've been postponed due to lack of beds and staffing levels being unsafe. Due to year on year cuts to services.
@LeeAndersonMP_ Bringing up 3 kids, raising food costs, raising bills, council tax, mortgages etc. The yearly cost of our pin, the cost of parking at work, getting to work, childcare, paying back 60k for our degree, unpaid breaks, people's lives literally in our hands?
@GilbergMaggie @Katynurse27@Shelter And monthly it works out at less than ยฃ20 by the time we have paid the increased tax, ni, student loan (which I can pay upto 120 a month for) and pension. If we can afford to pay into our pension. Tonnes aren't because they need the money and just can't afford it.
@GilbergMaggie @Katynurse27@Shelter It's now 13.87 an hour. When we got the pay increase it was back dated, along with tax, ni, pension and student loan payments. With enhancements that month I should have been ยฃ200 better off than the previous. I was ยฃ150 worse off!
@JasonManford just home from the panto. Our boys (and us) loved it. I'm definitely the "mum laughing" ๐คฃ loved the assembly bangers. Nostalgia galore! What a fab Christmas evening out :)
@Chr1sbeck1@danielgoyal 2/2 Never get the time owing back because we don't get the opportunity, too busy saving your loved ones lives! That's not counting the times we don't get a break because we are too busy as well. And I can't remember the last time I worked 37.5hr week!
@Chr1sbeck1@danielgoyal Really? Top of my band is 32k so how is that the average of 35k? Only if you go into management. 28 days holiday a year, plus bank holidays granted. Don't get paid overtime. At all. We get time back if we end up staying (which we often do) (1/2)
@casscout@junkysuicidesid@Jimsteph1@danielgoyal 40 to 50k are you having a laugh? Nurse managers maybe. I'm a nurse and I'm on 27k, even when I get to the top of my band I will be nowhere near 40k!
@LeeAndersonMP_@GNev2 Also not half of a nurses pay! I'm a nurse and I am definitely not paid ยฃ19 an hour. Approx ยฃ5.50 more an hour than I make. Just saying.
@cllrawilkinson 2/2 wanted to admit him but doctor told us we could be waiting the same amount of time for a bed! I'm a nurse so brought him home with community nurses visiting everyday. I don't blame the staff who are doing amazing under crap circumstances. I blame the government!
@cllrawilkinson We were in a&e for 9.5 hours last week overnight. With a seriously poorly child. Temp of 39, rash, coughing, headache, throat issues, but most concerning he'd gone blue (resolved by the time we got to hospital). Ended up sleeping on the floor (on our coats) at 3am! (1/2)
If @HelenSkelton and @gorkamarquez1 don't lift that glitter ball I am gonna have an epic monopoly sized tantrum (context: not allowed to play monopoly because I've been known to flip the board!)
@SethMacFarlane Oh it's heartbreaking. Our 17yr old cat Eddie fell into his eternal sleep about four weeks ago. It's devastating. Sleep tight beautiful angel โค๏ธ
