I don’t think enough people have seen this. It’s Kurt Vonnegut talking to his wife about going out to get an envelope (we’re here on earth to fart around):
We need @RishiSunak & @SteveBarclay to spend time in any A&E to witness the horrors of corridor care
Then they would understand the reasons for 500 excess deaths a week
And then they might try and solve the problem rather than deny there is one
Pls retweet to encourage them
The NHS crisis is a life or death situation for huge numbers of patients. The NHS is collapsing in front of our eyes whilst the PM & Health Sec are nowhere to be seen. Parliament must be recalled &a national major incident declared to put the NHS back on a pandemic-style footing
“The Government must step up and take immediate action. Without intervention, waiting lists will continue to grow, patients will continue to suffer, and staff will continue to leave.”

The NHS is in horrific meltdown, people are dying in abject misery in corridors, but don’t worry, the man in charge just tweeted this - his only tweet of the day - about jogging.

@sbattrawden Myself and my husband have been on the frontline of the covid pandemic in both hospital and community settings. This makes me sick that people contemplate feeling this way. We have gone to work caring for covid patients not knowing the effect on our family. How very dare they
Ohhh I love a tune - especially when its a classic. I remember buying this single as a teenager. I’m so thrilled to welcome Ricky and Lorraine - AKA @deaconbluemusic - to #TheCroonerSessions - thank you guys for all your efforts and sharing this fabulous performance with us...
Huge thanks to all the NHS staff who continue to fight Coronavirus with everything they have
It’s a shame some people have already forgotten the sacrifices that have been made
But the vast majority of the country couldn’t be more grateful
