Just some of the highlights from my recent visit to Co Carlow - @DuckettsGroveIE, Brownshill Portal Tomb which has the largest capstone in Europe, @HuntingtonCastl in the very pretty village of Clonegall & Altamont Gardens @ancienteastIRL
My local guides Mika, Mille & Max brought me to the top of Mount Leinster today where you can see all the way to the Celtic Sea #Carlow#Wexford#irelandsancienteast
@Alinefitz@ancienteastIRL I certainly did and had the place almost to myself. Beautiful walled gardens and got the sense that it has a very interesting past.
Good morning from Duckett’s Grove in Co Carlow- one of Ireland’s most photographed ruins. Looking forward to exploring the county over the coming days. @ancienteastIRL
