I remember Ramon Tebar from my days at the Florida Grand Opera in Miami. He is one of the best conductors I have ever seen. I'm delighted to see that he is continuing his success!
“...His conducting gesture is wide, broad. He highlighted certain special moments which he does marvelously: the Overture, the storm, Cenerentola’s Aria...We were trapped in the score: silky strings, pompous and/or mysterious brass & flutes were particularly in the spotlight.”
@Ariadne529 Congratulations, Noelle, and thank you for your kind words. I'm sorry for the delay in replying to you. I need to check my twitter account more often!
I've dedicated "Joe's Hurra" to Joe Smith, former Professor at the @BerkleeCollege, and my mentor for "A Bissel Rhythm." I had never undertaken a composition project like this, and his patience, understanding and musical insight were remarkable.

I've dedicated "Joe's Hurra" (at 40:25 in this podcast) to Joe Smith, former Professor at @BerkleeCollege, and my mentor for all the tunes on "A Bissel Rhythm." His patience, understanding and musical insight were remarkable. I learned so much from him!
