I have just seen the news about Granit Xhaka forging his Covid certificate
Now I just need to ask, Arsenal winning the FA Cup that season is that not classed as gaining a sporting advantage over their opponents?
I am doing this right ain’t I?
Well said👏🏼 things could have been done better tonight and during the window but it’s not all doom and gloom. Caicedo a massive loss then add in Reece and Joao and that’s 3 of our best players out. Our squad isn’t currently like Arsenals. Give Xabi time and he’ll sort it out.
People really think this is year 5 of the same project?
We ditched that this summer. We sold most of the players and signed experience, and appointed an elite manager and gave him power.
We basically started from scratch this summer. You can make all the bullshit arguments about 5 years spending but the reality is, we just started over.
And you can keep on making the same arguments but until we actually give an elite manager time, including through tough periods, we'll never get where everyone wants to be.
Before anybody tells me I over rate drogba
This is how he was spoken of in his pomp.
Nerdy stat shagging virgins under the age of 25 tell me this isn’t the leagues greatest ever CF.
Did Enzo even hold that banner btw? Only seen photos of him near it.
Personally wouldn’t care if he walked back into the Bridge with it wrapped it around his waist, because I’m not a fairy.
We’ve all said the same/worse since before the Norway game.
Grow up 👍🏼
Leeds at Wembley is fixture that symbolises who Chelsea are today. Our entire identity is moulded because of that fixture that started at Wembley. It’s our biggest game of the season. We simply cannot go into it with this inept idiot in charge.
🚨Jose Mourinho Just Dropped the ULTIMATE Truth Bomb on Chelsea's Current Owners! 🔵🇵🇹😤 #CFC
🗣️ “Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in England – no doubts.
Back in our time with Roman Abramovich? He’d have private chats with players to boost their confidence.
Pure positive energy, good leadership, quality control.
To be frank – if you got sacked then, it was YOUR fault. Never the club’s. You’d understand and respect it.
With respect to some at the hierarchy now... they should LISTEN TO THE FANS like Roman used to.
The fans, players, and legends are all unhappy – but it’s happening.
If this changes and helps Chelsea, they NEED to listen to the fans.
Chelsea in England is like Real Madrid in Spain – total respect to all.” He added.
— The Special One 👑
Mourinho speaking for EVERY Blue right now. Roman built an empire by listening. The current not?
Turning their backs while the club suffers.
This isn't nostalgia – this is a wake-up call.
🟨 Olivia: "That exact tackle [by #THFC's Bentancur] was given as a yellow!"
🤷♂️ Jeff: "Nobody who's not a Chelsea fan could care less about what happened to Bentancur!"
Jeff Stelling and Olivia Buzaglo debate the consistency of referees after #CFC's Caicedo saw red vs #AFC! 🟥
Seen so many chels ‘fans’ eat their words about several of our players tonight. Support the club and stop moaning all the time. Nice 3-0 win go be fucking happy! #ChelseaFC
Last season, we had issues playing as a team and defending as a unit. Even when we were winning, Maresca said we weren't ready for the title. Then a few months later the cracks came out fully but he managed to fix it and formed a formidable team that ended the season well.
Now, we made a lot of changes in the summer, especially the fringe players and most of them that came in aren't Premier League ready. With injuries to key players, we can't properly replace them with players who are ready for the Premier League and understand how Maresca works.
It will come with time. I used last season as an example because we always expect everything and everybody to be perfect in football from day 1. It's down to work. The new players need to adapt to the league and the manager, and with time, they will be ready.
I strongly believe that we bought well last summer but we bought players that need time. Estevão, Gittens, Hato, and Essugo are stunning talents but need time. The likes of Delap, Joâo Pedro, Garnacho and Buonanotte won't need much time because they already know the league, they just have to adapt to the manager's style with which Joâo Pedro and Buonanotte are familiar, having worked under De Zerbi.
My point is; Maresca proved last season that he can work and get the players ready to make a formidable team last season and there is no way he won't be able to do the same this season with even better talents. Because talent-wise, we bought better players than those we sold, but most of them are yet to be ready.
If you want to doubt him again, go on...
