Taking supplies up to front tnite. Small detail of us doing it. Other lads done it last two nights, just our turn.lads will be glad of them

[George Green @Pauls43]

Moved to reserve last night.was raining hard. Had to march in silence on duck boards in open praying hun didn't hear or see us.

[George Green @Pauls43]

Quiet today.hun was shouting across wanting a pack of cards.we only have one and their snipers can't be trusted if we tried to send them

[George Green @Pauls43]

One of lads took a bullet today.he didn't stay down when moving.Hun sniper at it all day.he will get a blighty and lose his arm.

[George Green @Pauls43]

[George Green @Pauls43]

Rained hard all day, foot of water in trench, no where to lay,for sleep.trying to lean against side but only get a few minutes

[George Green @Pauls43]

Very desolate here now.shelling not as intense but still have to keep your head down.spending days repairing trench.
