Brilliant podcast by Tortoise Investigates “We Call her Emma.” Episode 5 about making orphans out of rebels children combined with front lines South Korea’s Adoption Reckoning is mind opening.
Why do they blame those nice unknowing families that adopted them instead?
How about a wellness event where the organizer actually checks the real science behind these companies. A better version of the FDA for the UAE. Great guest speakers, I guess we can’t stop vendors from selling patches and hydrogen water even though they are bogus
#AppleHell new iPhone Air 17 and MacBook Air. Friction full migration is comparable to the first iPhone being launched with AT &T. No music, maps, data and payment.
At least I didn’t depend on my phone as much then! Mapquest where are you! xx

Finally some accountability. Moreover bullying is not only peer to peer but I have witnessed teachers beating students with no consequences. #antibulluing of all kinds https://t.co/lfUkcvMOJ5
@rta_dubai you’ve been responsive and pro active for a majority of issues. Help me with this- schools like NAS have expanded the school significantly increased enrollment and profit subsequently. They have not added any parking or contributed to any roads. Is that allowed?
Our team in Kenya has been working for over a year to deploy @Starlink at some of the remotest educational facilities in the country on behalf of the @MoICTKenya.
The results have been transformative: enrollment and attendance up over 50% in several cases; incidents of delinquency, crime, and substance abuse among youth in these communities have dropped markedly; and educational outcomes and entrepreneurial activities have also improved.
Kenya is a developed country with a well educated population, high internet penetration, and vibrant digital economy…and yet even here the impact of high speed, low latency connectivity in rural areas is still profound. We can’t wait to bring the solution we’ve developed for Kenya to other countries around the world that haven’t yet developed the infrastructure Kenya has.
I want to thank Principal Secretary @tanuijohn for putting his faith in us (and pushing us hard to perform), and acknowledge the role @ICTAuthorityKE has played to ensure our Starlink deployments are serving the needs of these communities.
Bringing connectivity to the unserved and underserved is a dream come true for me, and what we are doing at @Karibu_Connect in Kenya is just the beginning of what we hope to do in many other places. Can’t wait!
@EmiratesLitFest breakfast for champions, learned to live my dream whilst surrounded by idiots and lead those that matter. Empowering folks to quit their day jobs to become bakers or speakers is fascinating, that’s purpose~
Morning well spent followed by Rossano Ferretti.
Just read @WalterIsaacson book on Chief Twit/X and laughed out loud, though I wondered where the rest of the story was. I felt he exercised restraint maybe because the subject is very much alive and capable of blow back.
