@JaharaJayde I think it’s amazing. As for her hair being black instead of silver, I think it’s perfectly fine; it’s her own alternative concept of Frieren, and that’s how she chose to portray herself.
@GalacticatAW@DalexK0rn@MarvelRivals That's why the capes are transparent, so the hair clipping issue isn't noticeable. Now we just have to wait and see how the mod creator fixes this detail.
@E_Lord_Y@scarletpagans The cape is transparent, which is why you can’t see it when the hair passes through it. In Wanda’s case, they would need to make it transparent; otherwise, the collision glitches will be noticeable.
@PunkyIggy Hela’s skin doesn’t have hair as long as Wanda’s. They gave her a cape, but even so, the hair still clips through it. The cape’s transparent effect helps hide it, but it’s still noticeable.
@PunkyIggy I think they didn’t give the character a long cape due to collision issues with the hair, since it’s very long. Adding a cape would cause the hair to constantly clip through the fabric, creating a poor visual effect.
@sp_i_der_@PunkyIggy It seems to me that keeping the hair like that was an artistic decision, and that they preferred to sacrifice the cape in order to keep the hair long, just like in the character’s base skin in the game.
@sp_i_der_@PunkyIggy If that had been a solution, it would have worked like in Champions, where the character’s hair isn’t as long and they were able to add the cape without any issues. But I suppose that in Rivals they wanted to preserve the base silhouette for this skin.
@mathmaths@get2dachopra I think it was due to collision issues. Since the character has very long hair, adding a cape would have caused the hair to constantly collide with it and clip through, resulting in a negative visual effect.
@OldTrussi@daily1punch It seems they fixed that in the physical version, because I checked several digital versions and in all of them it appears like that, with the short shorts.
@ScarletRed616 So, by making it short and transparent, they reduced that issue of the hair colliding with the cape. Or maybe they just wanted to sell more by showing off Wanda’s backside, haha.
@ScarletRed616 I think they made the cape short, transparent, and in two pieces because the character has very long hair, and both the cape and the hair have physics. If it were long and solid red, the hair would constantly clip through it, creating a bad visual effect.
