Realized I forgot to say something about this. Yay #1! Also even with Joe-J, Will, and Flippy graduating, UMD still has a lot of talent and threats, and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone get even better
@AliceTalksFooty As a true hater of Arsenal, the first one is not a handball. His arms are against his body so he gets no advantage from using them. The second one is 100% penalty though
@RisterMice Go YL against Yoshi if you don’t like it as Min Min. I’ve always found that matchup pretty easy with YL, could even be a slight win (although I think Yoshi is super overrated in general so maybe don’t take that too seriously)
@anishmoonka Memorizing signs does not mean they “knew” ASL. The apes had no grammar, just a lexicon. They don’t ask questions because they lack the grammatical mechanisms.
@SNY_Mets@SNYtv He should get cheers, he was a good Met and was on the team for a while. I don’t think the fanbase has (or should have) any ill will towards him
@ughfinewhatever Probably because they’re two different versions of “to.” One is a tense marker marking the embedded clause as infinitive (“I’m going to cry”), and the other is a preposition (“I’m going to Pittsburgh”). Not sure that’s why you get this pattern, but they’re different constructions
