Hear this: a woman raised in a loving home, with a solid upbringing, doesn’t grow into a bitter feminist. It’s always the vultures. Check them closely, more often than not, their first love and protector (father) failed them miserably. Hence the vigor and pain they lash out with.
Before feminism came, marriages lasted.
Women knew their places in society without feeling like they are suffering because they were not.
But as feminism came in, women started to see themselves as equal to men.
Wives saw themselves as equal to their husbands.
50/50 bs became a norm.
"My body, my choice" became a norm.
I have made this clear. I do not support the modern-day feminism I see on these streets because it has birthed so many rots in our society today.
Even as a Christian, you are in big error if you support feminism.
Feminism is the anti-Christ.
Y'all ever met someone who will spend hours talking to you about themselves and the minute you mention just one thing about yourself they just stop listening or even try to talk about something else?😭
You see that WhatsApp thing wey I go view status and emoji go dey pop up when I try to go next and e no go go, e dey rage bait me gan.
E fit make me mute you.
i don't think people really understand that there is no coming back from certain things. Some damage does not get undone, and once it changes how you see someone, that's it. Not everything deserves a second chance, no matter how sorry they are.
I think every woman hits that season where she's not angry anymore, just aware. You see people clearly. You move differently. You don't explain.. you just shift. That's maturity mixed with grace.
Bro if u leave ‘hard man’ small, do some kyn things babes de do, you go realize say e lowkey sweet.
Dem don run you bubble bath before? with scented oils & flowers, use cucumber massage your eyes, con wear u soft bathroom robe after. You go just de purr like cat😂
DEAR NIGERIAN MEN,
READ!... EDUCATE YOURSELF!... AND STOP ALL THESE!
"She didn't spend more than five minutes in the labor room, which was possible because she stayed fit throughout her pregnancy."
Dear Mr Sir,
Not to burst your bubble, your wife didn't spend 5 minutes in the labour room because she was fit.
Now, this is coming from someone who have seen hundreds of women who are most likely fitter than your wife... some of which had prolonged labour and even had a c/section...
dear men, yall should start speaking like people who show empathy... people who give room for other women who aren't shaped like your wife.
Let me tell you why your wife had her baby in 5 minutes!
you had an average sized baby... probably not your first(maybe your first)... and the head of your baby down with good position of the head and labour progressed without her knowing...
She was probably 9-10cm before she got to the labour room... and if her waters were not broken... it'll get broken and she delivers...
Now, women with raised BMI(women you call fast) come in the labour room and deliver before 5 minutes!...
now, let all men read this and educate themselves.
Not all women have the same kind of body... infact abroad, Asia, Ireland and Europe as a whole ... so many women have raised BMI!... how do I know?... I've worked there!... many bigger than our African counterparts...
Now, yall should end body-shaming pregnant African women!
I was actually one of the nurses on duty that day, and I can confirm every word. In fact, the moment she walked into the labor ward, we immediately realized this wasn’t going to be like every other delivery we’d spent years training for. We threw away the fetal monitor, the partograph, the blood pressure cuff, the IV cannula, the emergency trolley, and every obstetrics textbook because, as it turns out, all those things were completely unnecessary.
She simply walked to the bed, looked at the baby and said, “Come out.” The baby respectfully complied within minutes. No contractions to monitor, no cervical examinations, no assessment of fetal position, no concern about the size of the baby or the mother’s pelvis. Apparently none of that has ever mattered. We have all been wasting our time.
Immediately after the delivery, the hospital called an emergency meeting. Every obstetrician, midwife, anesthetist and pediatrician was informed that decades of medical training had been based on misinformation. We have now concluded that prolonged labor, obstructed labor, postpartum hemorrhage, shoulder dystocia, eclampsia, emergency C-sections and maternal mortality only happen because women failed to renew their gym memberships.
We’ve also contacted medical schools worldwide to remove Obstetrics & Gynecology from their curriculum. Future doctors will no longer learn about parity, cervical dilation, fetal distress, induction of labor, breech presentation, placenta previa, uterine rupture, or any of those outdated concepts. The only lecture remaining is “Stay Fit and Tell the Baby to Come Out.”
We’ve gone a step further and written to the World Health Organization, ACOG, RCOG and every maternity hospital across the globe to stop wasting resources on labor wards. Apparently the solution to childbirth has been sitting in a gym all along.
On behalf of every doctor, nurse, midwife, researcher, and every woman who has ever experienced a difficult or traumatic labor, we sincerely apologize for not realizing sooner that childbirth is actually a fitness competition. Thank you, sir, for correcting centuries of medical science with one tweet. We are forever indebted to you.
Women get prettier when our nervous system is regulated & we're not living in chronic stress. Longer hair, shinier hair, softer + glowier skin, no bloating, no breakouts, no mood swings. We’re our best version when we rest more, slow down, spend more time in the sun, eat warm foods, dance, frolic... Biologically we're wired to be whimsical
You should have things you don't do, places you don't go to, substances you don't take, words you don't say
By all means, have Principles and Standards.
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, “Never play fair in a game where others cheat.” It doesn’t mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they’ll throw dirt. Sometimes wisdom is not revenge. Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
Uncommon advice: If you don't know what to pursue in life right now. Pursue yourself. Pursue becoming the healthiest, happiest, most healed, most present, most confident version of yourself. Then the right path will reveal itself.
