π I built PayToPin β a public leaderboard where startups rank by one thing: what they bid.
No votes. No algorithm. No editors.
Pin your product from $5. Want #1? Outbid whoever's there β you only pay the difference.

PayToPin just launched on TinyLaunch π
Funny part: it's a leaderboard where you can't vote. You just bid. Highest bid takes #1, every price is public, and listings start at $5.
This time I need actual upvotes though π

@ruthranbaskar first paying customer 2 days after launch is a real start. you said PH drove the first sales, doing a second push or going all in on X now?
@Fer_MOMENTO the calm boring way is the part nobody posts about. what did distribution look like for the very first product, before anything compounded?
@ElitzaVasileva@UneedLists what moved the needle in the residency, the feedback or just people seeing your stuff daily? trying to figure out how much is pure visibility
@JustinasRoland0 running a launch board too, and the thing that surprised me most is the top 5 spots eat 58% of clicks. seeing anything like that on MacPip yet?
@JulieFrench_ hey Julie π building paytopin, a leaderboard where startups rank purely by what they bid. 155 products on it so far. what are you working on?
@suraj_sharma14 agreed. the uncomfortable part is that distribution mostly comes down to where you sit. on our board, the top 5 spots got 10x the clicks of spots 6β10, with the same visitors and the same day.
@Defi_Warhol good list. one thing nobody mentions: on most of these, a launch lasts 24 hours and then you're buried. we built paytopin so your spot stays put until someone outbids you. no votes, no algorithm.
@dark_coderz B, and it's not close. AI can make coding take 48 hours, but nothing makes getting noticed that fast. half the products on our board have under 5 clicks, and they're good products.
@abhay8769 the build took 17 days. getting the first 10 users will feel like longer. post where your users already hang out every day, not just on launch platforms. who's vekto for?
@kamilbaranek_ hey Kamil π appreciate it. curious, what's the one X tactic that actually moved the needle for you? and have you tried ASO at all for iOS?
@SpellInterview 100%. the audience has to exist before launch day, PH just amplifies what's already there. what would you do differently if you were starting the pre-launch over?
