In an exclusive interview with @filmybugB, Bollywood superstar #MadhuriDixit, and director #NageshKukunoor discuss their new crime thriller series, Mrs. Deshpande, which premiered on December 19, 2025. Adapted from the French series La Mante, the show features Dixit in a de-glam role as a serial killer assisting the police.

Speaking on the transformation, Dixit stated, "I think the beauty is of the character that you are playing." Kukunoor revealed his initial apprehension about stripping away the actress's glamour, admitting, "I started freaking out because she came and sat in front of the camera."

The duo also discusses the challenges of adapting a foreign show for an Indian audience and the evolving definition of beauty in cinema.
