In this framework of support we want to create a space in Greek Life for diverse students to get involved. Likewise, we want to continue putting on Let's Talk events that confront difficult issues like racial profiling, the double-bind, and the school-to-prison pipeline.

Being a predominately white university, we want to assure that students of color are seen, heard, and understood, along with their organizations. That is why the last of our big six initiatives is to enhance cultural visibility, appreciation, and education! #EngageCulture

By meeting with admissions we can encourage the university to begin recruiting at more predominantly Black High Schools, while here on campus we create a framework to support said students.

By serving the hungry in Shawnee we can better engage our community and ensure that the meal plans we have payed for go towards something more!

Our left over meal swipes and Bison Bucks should go towards something that matters. We have done some research and have looked at colleges who have used their excess meal swipes for the good of their students and community. We want to do the same.

On a large scale, would like to create a contract with Chartwells that would allow students to donate meal swipes, that would create revenue, that could be donated to organizations in Shawnee!
