As Mayor, I said we’d get it done, and now it’s happened.
Closed in the Beeching cuts, trains have returned to Willenhall for the first time in over 50 years.
Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get this over the line to reconnect the local community & drive growth.
🌳⚠️ Storm Safety near trees – Please Take Care ⚠️🌳
With stormy weather forecast, we’re reminding residents be aware that trees or parts of trees can be damaged in strong winds.
While Birmingham City Council has an active programme of tree inspections and safety works, storms can still cause unexpected damage, including:
🌬️ Falling branches or entire trees
🌧️ Slippery paths and unstable ground
Even healthy trees can be affected by high winds, and hazards may not be immediately visible.
✅ Please stay safe by avoiding wooded areas during storms
✅ Follow weather alerts and council updates
✅ Report any fallen trees or hazards via our website (link in comments👇 ) or customer services on 0121 464 8728
Your safety is our priority. Thank you for helping us keep Birmingham’s parks safe for everyone.
