Harry Stone claims it was an easy call to make his Ayr United return.
The Hearts keeper is back at the scene of his original loan spell two years ago, where he endured a tough time trying to nail down the number one spot.
But Gary Naysmith is set to throw Stone the gloves and challenge the Tynecastle product to become his main man.
Stone said: "The decision to come back was a pretty quick one if I'm honest.
"I liked everything that Gary Naysmith had to say around the culture he wants to build and the ambitions he has for the season.
"There is some scarring from two years ago but it's obvious the club has changed.
"I feel I'm coming back here with a freedom and I’m ready to go.”
🆕 Heart of Midlothian can confirm that Beni Baningime, Frankie Kent, Alan Forrest and Lewis Neilson will leave upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.
All four players depart with our sincere thanks and appreciation.
