@Vararse_@UtdFrag There is a problem with this. Your opinion is based on not watching him regularly. So is mostly feeling based while Man Utd have been scouting him for 3 years and have data as well. The best thing is to withhold complaints and allow the player to come in then you can decide.
@Vararse_@UtdFrag So you really don't care about the cost vs contract length then, what you care about is perceived quality. The same way you believe Kane was worth 100 mil despite 1 year left on contract, Man Utd believes Ederson is worth what they are paying. You are going off sentiments really.
@spaintsil990 Look you need a bit of comprehension tbh. You said Kane was an exception so I mentioned multiple names to show that he wasn't and you respond with this crap? Again Man Utd football department disagrees with your opinion so yours isn't worth much in this. Have a good day
@josef__fcb@DebatableFO You do know that it was not always 32 right? It was 24 for several tournaments until 98. It was also 16 before that. People said the same thing you are saying when it increased from 24 and then 32 for the 98 world cup.
@spaintsil990 Kane is not an exception as I could name you many players, Hazard 115 mil, Courtois 40 mil. Sanchez 34 mil & Guehi 23 mil with 6 months left to name a few. You think he is not a decent midfielder and I disagree so does Man Utd. He is also on much less wages so value for money.
@spaintsil990 Exactly so it's not contract length you pay for it's the player quality. Man Utd is paying that because they believe he is worth it. If you don't think he's a good player just say so and stop talking about him having 1 year left. You're not getting a decent midfielder for less
@aydera72@Vararse_@urnaijaprince_ So then stop moaning since you don't know if they Will succeed or not. That means you don't know if it is an expensive fee or not until he plays. Man Utd clearly thinks he is value for money.
@aydera72@Vararse_@urnaijaprince_ Contract length is irrelevant. If the player has 1 year left even if you paid 60 mil and they deliver, everyone will praise the signing. If they had 4 years left and you paid 40 and they failed, it would be considered a poor signing.
@Vararse_@urnaijaprince_ So the contract length doesn't matter it's the quality of the players that do. Stop moaning about contract length and price then
@Let_me_land@Dan__B94@utdAdams Based on what we know of him, he's better than all England's current central midfielders.
Wharton has to go and do it. Carrick did it already
@Czooba@fatherzos Whether 1 year or 4 years left on the contract doesn't change the quality of the player. If he is good enough that would be a steal.
Kane was signed for 100 mil with a year left, Sane 60 mil, Hazard 115 mil, Courtois 40 mil all with one year left.
@Let_me_land@Dan__B94@utdAdams I'm comparing them as players not by age. I didn't see Carrick at 22 to judge him. I know he was nominated for the PFA Young POTY at 20.
However you were saying Wharton would have done great in Fergie Man Utd team so why would age matter. He may never get to Carrick's level
