@SphereVegas these ticket prices are wild. A 6yr old and a 50yr old paying the same price is crazy work. Children are just gonna sit there with a juice box and look up?! 🤷🏽♂️
No family package. No local discount. Nothing?!
We live here! At these prices, I need the Wizard of Oz to come with a payment plan and a brick of gold! 🧱💰
Get home. Me and my daughter pray for 20 minutes. Clean house. Send them spirits packing.
We both wake up sick.
She said she wasn’t feeling good. I wasn’t either. I woke up nauseous with a headache. She woke up nauseous too bag already next to the bed.
She thought it was the pregnancy.
I thought it was the prayer.
Apparently when you pray the demons off you they don’t just leave. They stop at your stomach on the way out and leave a review.
I work with people who hear voices.
Apparently I do too.
And now the afterparty is in my house.
Anyway. Clock in.
Aight so I’m on 1:1s in forensic…
I be seeing extras.
Not just the patients. The other ones.
One night I swear I seen something with four legs walking around a bed. Blond dog. Only saw the legs tho. Rest of the dog must’ve had a second job.
Smoke floating around. Some white. Some black. Like the spirits got a dress code and a union.
Security door slammed. Nobody there. Not even a draft. Just the door like “I’m done with y’all too.”
Then I hear a girl in a LOCKED hallway go “excuse me” like she lost and looking for the bathroom.
I walk past rooms and it’s straight psych-movie stills. Folks standing in the dark in the window like they posing. Some pacing in slow motion. One dude rambling numbers like he’s decoding the lottery. If Vegas ever ran those digits I’m cashing that ticket and quitting this shift.
Some talking to people who ain’t there.
Some who actually know God… and yell His name like He left His phone on silent.
Last night this client couldn’t sleep. Up and down all night like that bed owed her money and interest.
I nodded off for one second.
Wake up to her going “excuse me” so she can squeeze past me AGAIN. Ok well maybe 4 minutes…
And right there — boom — smoky face. Black cat eyes. Little grey pupils. Staring at me like I owe it $20 and the late fee.
One second. Gone.
I work with people who hear voices.
Apparently I do too now.
Anyway. Clock in.
Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Jeremiah 1:5 KJV
I wonder if God gives babies special instructions before they come out.
Be calm.
Breathe.
Somebody may pull your neck don’t flinch.
It’s okay to open your eyes and see.
How do they know?
How do they adjust that fast?
In a world where change knocks grown people sideways, this baby has to change immediately. Dark to light. Water to air. Quiet to noise. And they just… arrive.
That’s amazing.
