Thanks for the swift response. Yes, the contract is immutable. It appears the community is leaning towards a migration with a relaunch instead of a "soft CTO". Could the facilitation of this be a priority? It would be highly appreciated by the community, so we can all move onward ✍️
On the migration part...
Why can’t you implement a simple CTO request form, similar to how https://t.co/5zv8Z8Qxkc, Raydium, Bonk, and others handle it?
A full relaunch would be devastating for the community. A “Soft CTO” is not a complete solution either. Most swaps will still go through the existing 1% pool, meaning the old developer will continue receiving fees — potentially far more than the new CTO pool.
Why not simply allow the community to submit a CTO request, review it, and, if approved, change the fee recipient wallet directly? This would solve the problem without forcing a relaunch or fragmenting liquidity.
There is nothing in the contract that prevents you from doing such.
Would be a better solution for the brodie community.
i’m taking the lead here and helping build the broader $JUGGERNAUT project, bringing together the community, holders, creators and everyone who wants to contribute.
$JUGGERNAUT is one of @vladtenev’s favorite memes, and robinhood, a $93B company just entered the meme space.
vlad said yesterday that he wants to push memes too, and i think $JUGGERNAUT deserves to be at the top. it’s one of the simplest and most recognizable memes tied to robinhood chain and its founder.
if you hold a meaningful supply or want to help us build, my DMs are open.
i’m starting to work on this now.
$JUGGERNAUT deserves to be a top meme.
less than 24 hours, that's how long it took
i wrote it in the thesis: "are you in or are you changing the pfp back next week?" he didn't even make it a week
10,000+ people bridged back to base for this. $100M volume. the community made him a superhero, made the stickers, made the comics, made the videos, believed the "makes sense to me," believed the "good way to get me to do something." and he treated it like a costume he tried on for the day
this is @base in one story. every single time. they wink at the trenches, farm the attention, watch the community pour money and energy in, then step back and act like nothing happened when it's time to actually stand behind something. jesse's coin, the creator coins, now this
the playbook never changes because to them we're not a community: we're a marketing metric
you cannot build culture on a chain whose leadership treats culture as a pfp they can swap when legal gets nervous. solana rallied around bonk at the LOWS. base gets handed its culture moment on a plate, organic, free, the entire timeline watching, and fumbles it in under 24 hours
the worst part isn't the candle. the worst part is he proved every cynic right. everyone who said "they will never let base have this" was correct, and everyone who believed got exit liquidity'd by a pfp change
i said the margin for error was zero, they found a way to go negative
never again on @base. the trenches have memory
