We recieved an information regarding a farm that is employing illegal foreigners in Ottos Bluff in Pietermaritzburg.

The name of the farm is Saxony Farm & is owned by Roland Chetty. Upon arrival we discovered that these foreigners paid as little as R200 to the officers at the border to gain entry in the country.
Our officers are compromising the country for just R200!!!!!! The owner is going to be arrested as well as the foreigners for contravening with the laws of the country.

Since Van Riebeck landed, Black Africans of SA have been betrayed at every level of existence — of land, labour, spirit, dignity and beingness. And now, after centuries of dispossession, they are expected to carry the burden of every failed state, every broken border, every collapsing economy, every regional war, every climate disaster and every neoliberal policy imposed on the continent.

They are told to be endlessly generous while they themselves are hungry.
They are told to be Pan-African while their own children are unemployed. Pan Africanism is an ideal when all of Africa is sovereign. Using it as a moral tool to shame disposesed Black South Africans is false consciousness.
They are told to share clinics, schools, homes, informal economies and scraps of survival, while capital, government, NGOs and comfortable commentators lecture them from a distance.

This is not justice. It is another layer of abandonment.

To name this pain is not to call for hatred against other Africans. It is to say that Black South Africans have also been made disposable — first by colonialism, then apartheid, then neoliberal democracy, and now by a political class that has outsourced every crisis onto the backs of the poor.
