@bass_faerie In my experience it’s been worse than giving birth, which I’ve used as my 10 on a 1-10 scale, but since these back issues in the last year I’ve bumped that down to a 9 🥲
@Writing0n My pump had a battery pack for when I wanted to be moving around but I also bought a (cheapish) phanpy wearable that got the job done when I needed it to. Wasn’t my best output but I’d use my usual pump as soon as I was home to truly empty.
@Writing0n I had a little insulated lunchbox I used with an ice pack & usually just stored right in the pump bottles with lids. BM can be out for up to 4 hours at room temp after you express it before its turns so you could pump & feed her without cold storing for up to 4hrs.
I have a series hangover 😫 I finished the entire hunger games series in the last month & now I have to start something new but I’m struggling 😩😩😩😩😩
I lasted 3 months babysitting an infant while wrangling my toddler & had to call it quits. That was so hard!!! 2 under 2 or even 2 under 3 moms are rockstars I swear to god, real life superheroes. Way too much for me 🥲
While I'm out getting (real) coffee for my wife, here's my pronatalism hot take:
If hospitals actually fed the fathers and gave them a comfortable place to sleep, there would be at least one more birth per year than if they maintain the current traditions.
