Congratulations to all the newly certified EKG Technicians from the PCT classes! Overall, 83% (61/71) passed on their first try in a pandemic with a new, harder exam. Good luck to all the PCTs retaking the exam over the break! #CelebrateKISD#CTEinKISD@KCAL_KISD@dsnowmann
Practicing PCT skills this week and next including swaddling babies and practicing hand washing (in the background). #CelebrateKISD#CTEinKISD@KCAL_KISD
We have 45 nationally certified ECG Technicians! After 2 days of testing, 87% have passed on the first attempt in the midst of a pandemic. The testing company also changed the exam completely this fall. More will be testing in December too. #thankfulinkisd#CTEinKISD@KCAL_KISD
@chipgaines https://t.co/sRKm4BfXjJ I teach healthcare to high school seniors and help them get 3 different national healthcare certifications. This helps them start their career in healthcare. Thank you for helping get the word out to #clearthelists
Ready for the new batch of PCTs on Monday. I think the desk shields our team of health science teachers made turned out pretty good. May even let the students decorate the PVC pipes if they would like to. #CelebrateKISD#CTEinKISD
When your PCT teachers are working hard with other health science teachers to build safer desk shields for our students we sometimes need to have a little fun too. This is going to be a great year at KCAL. Getting ready to meet the PCTs. @dsnowmann
This PCT classroom wishlist is probably a little different than most. There are other items not listed because they’re hard to come by like paper towels and nitrile gloves that we could also use if you have spares. #KellerISDClearTheLists#clearthelist https://t.co/sRKm4BfXjJ
We have 2 more nationally certified Patient Care Technicians! Congratulations, Caylea Christie and Lindsay Strobach! #CTEinKISD#CelebrateKISD@KCAL_KISD
