Being around people who put witchcraft at the center of everything is dangerous. People who constantly fear witchcraft can be difficult to live with. Witchcraft may exist, but it should not be treated as the main cause of all your failures or stop you from being civil.
CHOPPED DOWN … The famous tree at the Khomas Regional Council offices in Windhoek, known as the ‘zimbuka tree’ after it featured in a trending video, has been cut down. The regional council says the tree has been receiving a lot of unwelcome visitors and decided it was best to have it removed for the safety of employees.

Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, along with representatives from the Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Fund, the Namibian Police, and other stakeholders, this morning visited the site of an accident involving four pedestrians yesterday. This visit took place on the B1 road between Katutura and Chinatown in the Northern Industrial Area, to observe traffic flow.
The visit aims to address ongoing safety concerns, as motorists frequently hit pedestrians while they cross the B1 road.
Yesterday, four people were struck by a vehicle on the road, all of whom sustained multiple injuries and are currently hospitalised.
The team assessed the situation to identify short-, medium-, and long-term solutions to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists.
Minister Nekundi directed the immediate deployment of law enforcement to control pedestrian movement and vehicle flow. This starts today from 16:00 to 19:00, repeating daily from 6:00 to 8:00 and 16:00 to 19:00.
Stakeholders will continue engaging in long-term measures.
Pedestrians and motorists are urged to adhere to police directives in the meantime. The area is prone to both road accidents and robberies.

Independence Day marks freedom from external control. Traditional clothing symbolizes reclaiming identity, heritage, and self-expression that may have been suppressed, in this case People are celebrating history, identity, and survival.
I don't believe foreigners leave their countries to come to Namibia to honestly become street vendors. They are selling brooms, mops, pots, clothes and blankets, as a front, while disguising their main drug dealing and money laundering business.
I noticed some people after you comment under their posts, they go and retweet and also comment on your posts, I have joined this group of people and I wish I meet more of such people and may God bless them , we need more of them 🙏
