Senator Pauline Hanson addressed the Senate today after Labor misrepresented her position on paid parental leave in parliament. Hanson confirmed she supports the government-funded scheme, which pays eligible parents up to 26 weeks at the national minimum wage from 1 July 2026.

In her own words: "There's no way, shape or form that I am actually saying to get rid of it." Her position is that small businesses should not be legally forced to fund parental leave on top of what taxpayers already cover.

Someone has to stand up for small business, because Labor certainly isn't, and if small businesses go under, the jobs go with them.

Tanya Plibersek told parliament Hanson wanted to "strip away workers' rights and roll back paid parental leave." That claim is false.

Yesterday One Nation forced the Greens to show their true colours.

We passed an urgent motion demanding action on Labor's cost-of-living crisis - the Greens couldn’t even bring themselves to vote on it.

They didn’t want to be seen voting against their Labor mates, who they just did a dirty deal with to pass the budget.

Australians are being hit with rising prices on food, fuel and power, and too many are being forced to go without.

It’s time for immediate action, it's time to put Australians first.

Sarah Hanson-Young stood up and claimed One Nation is "up to their neck" in foreign interference and deepfakes. She named no proof. The fact checkers have already traced the fakes she pointed to: foreign clickbait farms run out of Vietnam that target Pauline Hanson, not content made by One Nation.

So why the panic? Look at the polls. One Nation leads federal voting intention on 30%. The Greens are stuck on 13%. When you cannot match a rival's rise, you brand it foreign and hope it sticks.

And who is Sarah Hanson-Young? The senator who billed taxpayers almost $50,000 to fly her lobbyist husband, a former Greens strategist, between Adelaide and Canberra, all within the rules, which was reported as excessive.

The same senator who has twice had to retract and apologise for accusations she got wrong, to broadcaster Ray Hadley and to MP Andrew Laming.

She made this one from behind parliamentary privilege, where she cannot be sued. Notice she will not say it outside the chamber.

Karl Stefanovic has spoken, and he isn't going quietly. In his own video update, the now former Today host told his audience he's "free" and "truly independent," thanking them for "21 great years." "Thank you for riding the ups and downs. You have my thanks, and you have all of my love."

He made no apology for the interviews that cost him his Nine job. "The public deserve to hear perspectives," he said. "I've spoken to people who have different perspectives. Sometimes I agree with everything a guest says, sometimes I don't, but importantly, you get to make up your mind. You have the right to hear from different voices."

"Freedom of speech, here and around the world, is what this show is about," he said. "You don't have to listen to my show. You are smart enough to make up your own mind."

Australia’s Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke confirmed the woman has been granted a return permit following legal advice.

Officials said she will be subject to strict security measures and monitoring upon her arrival in Australia.

Authorities have stated they are prepared to manage any security risks under Australian law.

The government has not announced the date of her return.

🚨 Nine just sacked Karl Stefanovic after 21 years because his podcast got too real.

They signed off on an Aussie Joe Rogan style show - raw chats on masculinity, geopolitics and success.

No heads up about the “I’m not right wing, I’m just right” content. When Karl started interviewing Pete Evans properly, backing Charlie Teo, defending Ben Roberts Smith and refusing to run the usual corporate filter… suddenly it was “controversial” and “right-wing antics”

Their all staff email waffles about “protecting freedom of speech” and “open debate.”

Translation: free speech is fine until it stops sounding like theirs.

Karl told them straight: “It’s my show, I can do what the f**k I want with it and the criticism only feeds the publicity”

This is the exact same cancel playbook Tommy Robinson has faced for years - smear, isolate, silence anyone who won’t parrot the script.

One Nation makes no apologies for prioritising Australians first.

If you are a temporary visa holder or a foreign citizen residing overseas, One Nation will give you two years to sell their property to an Australian.

One Nation would remove the ability for international students, non-permanent residents, and non-Australian citizens from buying future property within Australia.
