The agency 's budget was just 0.3% of the Federal budget. According to a peer reviewed study, the agency saved 92 million lives over 21 years. Musk posted lie after lie to discredit the agency. He reposted that USAID was funding condoms for "gay Hamas" in Gaza. It turned out to be HIV AIDS prevention for a place of the same name in Mozambique. Musk claimed USAID was funding BBC. It turned out to be BBC Media Action, a charity. BBC Is funded by licenses.
