Grifter, Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, appeared on the Joe Budden Podcast on April 27, 2026 ā and immediately gets exposed, againāthis time by an actual clinical licensed psychologist, Dr. Racquel Martinā¦
Meet Dr. Raquel Martin, PhD a dynamic force in Black Mental Health and Liberation Psychology. Standing confidently at the intersection of clinical psychology and social advocacy, Dr. Martin has earned a reputation as a pioneering thought leaderā¦
With a rich background as a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Raquel Martin specializes in championing Black mental health. Going beyond traditional methods, they employ the principles of liberation psychology, creating a bridge between clinical practice and social justiceā¦
Dr. Martin explains why Dr. Bryantās messaging about licensure, ethics, mental health care is harmful, especially to the Black community she claims to serveā¦
A doctorate tells you that someone studied..A license tells you that theyāre trained, accountable, and legally able to provide mental health treatment..Both matter..Coaching is not therapy.. And framing ethical oversight as a limitation, rather than a protection of clients, should be a red flag, not a selling pointā¦
The access gap in Black mental health care is real..The answer isnāt unregulated care.. Itās MORE access to licensed, culturally competent professionals and community resources that actually exist to support us..
Here are a few organizations doing incredible work in Black mental health care and wellbeing:
1. BEAM (Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective)
2. The Loveland Foundation
3. Therapy for Black Men
4. Therapy for Black Girls
5. The Boris L. Henson Foundation
6. Black Mental Wellness
7. Therapy Black Mental Health Alliance
Cheyenne Bryant did all that talking in circles to essentially say she is not a doctor. I told yāall years ago shawty was a fraud. Yall love platforming a scammer while hating the actual credentialed people š
If you are 18-39, PAY ATTENTION! Yāall are a larger group than baby boomers and Gen Xers. Yāall complain about older people in politics. But look at what Georgia NAACP President Gerald Griggs posted. Of the 696,353 people that have voted early in Georgia, only 9.8% are 18-39. That is abysmal. You canāt change the system if you never show up at the ballot box. Expressing anger on Threads, IG, TikTok, Twitter and Snapchat aināt it. Letās go 18-39 folks!
It was great talking to Stephen and the inspiring young people weāve worked with at the @ObamaFoundation on the @ColbertLateShow.

What is happening in Louisiana right now is both a redistricting power grab and a dry run for authoritarian election subversion this Fall. The governor has declared a state of emergency to suspend the congressional elections because he doesn't like the current map.
Todayās Supreme Court ruling guts the Voting Rights Act and turns back the clock on the foundational promise of equality and fairness in our election systems.
Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act was one of the last remaining federal protections for Black and brown voters against maps deliberately drawn to dilute their political power. That protection has been stripped away.
It is an outrage. But it is not a surprise.
It is part of an agenda that conservatives set in place decades ago to steal power from everyday people and then cling to that power for generations.
The courtās decision is motivated by politics and designed to give an upper hand to Donald Trumpās Republican Party, which faces the threat of losing the upcoming midterm elections.
We must pay attention to what happens next.
The fight now returns to the states. Legislatures ā particularly those in the South ā will rush to redraw districts before voting for the midterms begins in just a few months. Already, Louisiana and Florida are planning to redraw their maps, and we should not be surprised if others rapidly follow suit ahead of the midterms and 2028. Their politically-motivated power grab is meant to protect elected Republicans from any consequences for their failure to make groceries, gas, health care, or housing more affordable for you and your family. They want to cheat and choose their voters, instead of the voters deciding who they choose.
The mission before us is to restore the power of the people. There is no question our fight became harder today, butĀ I know we are up for the battle.
The black men that are killing women arenāt doing it because they have mental health problems they are doing to because of misogyny and their entitlement to women.
In each one of these cases these men felt that they were losing control or about to and in order to regain it back they killed that woman or children.
They didnāt want to face consequences to their actions so they took the cowards way out.
Sick of the MURDERERS of black women and childreb being used as the stepping stone to talk about black menās mental health.
Black women and girls have to deal with colorism, racism, misogyny within our our communities and outside of it, along with sexism and you donāt see us killing our husbands, boyfriends or children at nearly the same rates.
Aisha Grevenberg tells women to LEAVE men who are into domestic violence, misogynistic, or have issues with women, because they canāt be saved and even therapy doesnāt work and is just another way to manipulate
āRun from men with these issues, they donāt change, itās dangerousā
Chilli is learning in real time: when your core audience is Black women, politics becomes part of your brand. Our lives arenāt separate from it. You canāt build your career on us and then try to disconnect from the issues that affect us. That doesnāt work anymore.
And yes⦠this will impact the TLC, Salt-N-Pepa, and En Vogue tour.
