When the flags of Spain and Mexico flew over Texas, there were many Josés, but scarcely a Pooja to be found.
When the flag of France flew over Texas, there were many Jeans, but scarcely a Pooja to be found.
When the Lone Star flew over the Republic of Texas, and later the flag of the Confederacy, there were many Johns, but scarcely a Pooja to be found.
Then came the Stars and Stripes. Beneath it, Josés and Jeans and Johns lived together — some rooted in the soil for generations, others more newly arrived — each with a different claim upon the land and its history.
Then, five seconds ago, Pooja arrived.
She surveyed the descendants of all those who had come before her, announced that she was every bit as Texan as they were, and informed them that if they didn’t like it, they were free to leave.
Dark humor first has to be humor.
Norm Macdonald saying of Steve Irwin’s death, “Hey, you’ll never guess who got killed…the Crocodile Hunter!” is an example of actually making a joke about someone’s death. You can find it insensitive — you may even be right — but there’s an identifiable joke.
What you people do is basically cackle in maniacal ecstasy that Charlie Kirk was murdered on camera. There’s no joke. The “punchline” is just: “A young father who asked questions I felt I shouldn’t have to answer and who made me look stupid got murdered.”
That isn’t “dark humor.” You’re just celebrating Charlie Kirk’s murder.
Now, I don’t know if you don’t realize that — the same lack of awareness/intelligence that causes your collective not being funny — or if perhaps the celebration is so intense that it’s almost a disorienting religious or supernatural experience, but regardless, that is what you are doing.
Important to realize that this isn’t just fringe stuff in the internet, these are people who work for the Democratic Party. If they’re willing to say this publicly, imagine how much worse it is behind closed doors.
People forget this about W. Bush, the President who explicitly rejected the concept of an American people in his inaugural address. He was a total libtard.
That’s why it’s funny every time we hear about new 9/11 files and everyone thinks it means PROOF of their favorite conspiracy, but it’s just more documents showing that the government was definitely aware of the threat but didn’t want to be racist. Y’know, like the airport employee who clocked the Egyptian who flew into the North Tower as being a terrorist but didn’t say anything. And like a bunch of other problems too.
> Tries to debunk the government's claim that immigrants are a drain on public coffers
> Links to article which shows that $6.7 of services are provided for every $1 in tax contributions
The Kirk jokes are not tasteless or bad, or some sort of dark humor. They are statements of evil. They’re expressions of glee of the death of a young father of two. They’re a signal that they wish death upon me and my friends. So no, it’s not a bad day or tasteless, it’s evil
It’s kind of just horrific how many “normal” people are like this.
Like just passing you on the street and they would 100% cheer on and encourage your murder if you simply preach the gospel.
Meet Yusuf Ahmed. Yusuf is a foreign terrorist who thinks it's funny to celebrate an innocent man being murdered in cold blood.
Yusuf is here on an F1 visa and goes to the University of Utah where he's a member of the Black Students Union.
People here on visas are not allowed to celebrate murder. Yusuf will be getting deported.
