I would like to thank all the wonderful and creative people on Twitter that have enriched my life with their poetry and prose and love of animals and art. God bless you all. For personal reasons I’m closing my Twitter account. Much love to each of you.
Dreamed I was
A lil’ mouse
Who’d mastered
Many #maths
Worked so hard
To hide my cheese
Down multiplying
Paths
Birthed
A cottage industry
To count my cheese,
It’s task
Why one mouse
Needs so much cheese
No one
Ever asked
I died alone
& unloved
While on a Brie
I basked

Allowing preventable deaths of Americans as political strategy constitutes crimes against humanity. This should forever define Donald Trump and his administration. #TrumpCrimesCommission
"It's simple: (Three Kings + Three Amigos + Twelve Angry Men + The Magnificent Seven)
+ Seven Psycopaths
= 13 Ghosts"
"Your #math is all wrong."
"What? You don't think there'd be that many casualties?"
"No, I just think it adds up to Covid 19."

America is crying out for leadership, and Trump has failed to meet the moment. But he hasn’t failed alone. Republicans have been right by his side.
In November, Democrats have a chance to win big and get things done, and I've got three words to say about that:
I. Can’t. Wait.
Mayhaps I'm projecting, or being a weirdo moon baby empath, but I feel a strong undercurrent of sorrow on my timeline. More than usual, even for 2020. Holding everyone who is scared, hurting, or feeling empty and abandoned in my heart. You are cared for.
In the last 4 years people have lost their sense of decency. It is obvious how much a country reflects the characteristics of its leader. I don’t want to be here anymore if there is not a change in leadership come November.
I wonder how many people would still be alive today if Texas, Florida and Arizona had elected Governors who put science over the President during a pandemic
I protest when my brother takes Math as his major. "You're horrible at math."
"How do you know?"
"I used to steal candies from your school bag. You never noticed."
"2 on weekdays and 3 on weekends."
"You knew?"
He laughs. "I had to buy extra ones for you to steal."

My youngest daughter, musing on the American insistence on listening to demon-sperm "doctors" over boring old scientists in the midst of a pandemic:
"Sometimes I wonder how the number one cause of death in America isn't drowning in the shower or walking into traffic."
