Two things I want to say:

Apparently there is an infamous group (or company?) in Indonesia called JRUHUB (and possibly more) that Vgen has a lot of these artists. You can usually tell that their art is eerily similar to each other and it's in the form of a YCH. Now that's not to say that Vgen is voluntarily supporting that; these groups' hoax is much more complex than you think. They've fooled me too.

If you found out that the artist I either reposted or featured is a bad actor, scammer, or one of those involved in blacklisted groups (JRUHUB, etc) and not only did you NOT tell me, but also post or mention youre mad that Im reccomending them, then you are a bystander. You rather let it happen and not do something about it, like letting me know. I've received backlash for something I was never told prior. I just dont think its fair to be called out when I was never informed of any of this. And that hurts. I firmly believe in the goodwill of artists and while the notion of bad people will be lingering on my mind, some can always slip through. I need your help. I need communication. I would appreciate it if the community could help assist me in spotting these people. Just slide me a dm or tag.

Im taking a small step back on reposting when tagged, as it seems they've been targeting me a lot lately. I was not aware to this extent, so i want to formally apologize if this has affected you. Ive only just found out about this recently, so its a huge shocker for me as well.

I want to warn people about something. I hope @Artistreccs could spread this information..

You probably noticed that there's been a lot of raffles where the artist contacts you for a 'gift' even if you lose. If you check their country, it's often enough on indonesian or thai. (They also have vgen codes, and once they get verif they open more profiles with their own key codes)

I will now explain what goes on, since I have indonesian friends who have told me about this.

They are often a group of Indonesian scammers behind, even if the person appears to be one sweet girl looking for commissioners.

In fact, they don't know how to draw, make logos, or art at all. They commission small indonesian artists for very low prices then give you the commission as if they are the one drawing it.

I also got scammed that way a while ago, they were reselling my 2d on FB +deviantart and I ended finding the real artist, who sold her commissions for waaaay smaller prices.

Often enough in these groups, the indonesian artist is not aware, or they are guilty tripped into accepting to join them as a shadow member, like an artist I know. One of these victims is @/_Laaras_, she asked my help and she made a tweet a while ago (she is very sweet with cute art). We contacted Vgen months ago, but they never acted or answered.

Please be careful with this scam. Because it's not only about prices way being higher for you while real artist is paid way less, but they will also resell your designs, live2d etc in facebook or other sites.

Hope this can reach the good public.
