I had never seen mammatus clouds before this moment on my 1st trip - and considering this day was also full of near missed with tornadoes I *might* have been a bit worried I wasn't going to make it through this storm :P
It may mean fighting against the wind - but when these rolling high grass fields take on a wave-like pattern... it's quite special. You can find yourself feeling very lucky to be out there, in the middle of nothing, to see it.
From my 1st cross country bicycle trip. #Film photo taken near Glacier National Park. @GlacierNPS is one of the most stunning places I've ever been to and it (along with every #NationalPark) needs to be protected.
The best part of slowly climbing uphill over several days is being able to fly down the other side - the road here was completely clear thanks to a long stretch of construction :)
Before having the production funds to move ahead with this film - I would sit around and daydream shots from the road that I hoped to get... trying to anticipate different landscapes and moments, this pan through the dense trees was one of those early sketched out shots. https://
Straddling the line between documentary and fiction, FOR THOUSANDS OF MILES is a unique road movie covering one man's bicycle journey across America in search of something meaningful. https://t.co/7ivZwGNpfh https://t.co/fCg5H1wp13
