This Monday, Wayne Pediatrics hosted a press conference where the Detroit Health Department officially announced its Rides to Care program. Pregnant mothers and caregivers of infants up to one years old can receive free transportation to doctor’s visits by calling (313) 876-0000.
Our Screening for T1D in the D event was an inspiring show of community advocacy! This event highlighted the importance of early detection and screening, especially for first-degree relatives of individuals diagnosed with T1D.
