@TruIncelScholar @TheOnly1Es@hileufs @wildtiktokss I love when people don’t understand a joke and then say “well I didn’t get it so it wasn’t funny”
When you don’t get a joke, you should figure it out and then be like ohh ahha I see
@td_coyo_t @wChiwi you could argue that both of these aren’t “Minecraft” enough when it comes down to comparing the animations to how Minecraft *used* to look
Minecraft mobs used to just use simple limb swing animations, which they have since evolved from
@td_coyo_t @wChiwi this is very well made
But when it comes down to it, this still looks incredibly similar to the animation that has been implemented, personally I do not see why it’s a big deal whether or not it’s procedurally made when it ends up looking nearly identical either way
@WPotato01 @wChiwi I have said this for a while, I absolutely agree, seeing a mob like a sheep next to a newer, very related mob like a goat just doesn’t feel right, they look like they’re from different games
I’m sure at some point there will be an update that brings other old features up to speed
@ZimmehlRily@WPotato01 @wChiwi This isn’t that great of a reason
Lore can be changed, if lore was such a big unmovable part of Minecraft then the entire nether expansion wouldn’t have happened
@WPotato01@ZimmehlRily @wChiwi They have said in the past that the fortresses and other older structures will be remade “at some point in the future”, which is the sole reason they weren’t touched during the nether update
Please let 1.21 be the dungeon and structures update on god 🙏
@JesterTheWolfSF@WPotato01 the whole texture revamp update of 1.13, was that a fuck you to Notch? Besides, it’s not unheard of for old mobs to get redone for the newer style, like how horses and vexes have been remade, and how Jappa himself has said that mobs like rabbits could use remakes
@td_coyo_t @wChiwi I could not think of a single way that the legs could possibly be procedurally done without looking terrible, I think it was a needed step
