Filed my ITR today.

Paid income tax more than my fresher year CTC.

In return, now I'll have to struggle to get my own PF money back. Can't send my future kids to government school because we all know the condition. Can't depend on a government hospital if I want good treatment. To drive on good roads, still have to pay toll. Have to buy an air purifier and water purifier because air and water around me are polluted.

Feels very unrewarding to be a taxpayer. There should be some reward for people who pay a good chunk of their income in taxes every year.

An open letter to @mipaltan from a lifelong fan who bleeds blue:

Dear MI,

There will never come a day where I stop supporting you even if you get successive 10th place finishes.

I know I will never get a free ticket after what I speak here, but as your biggest supporter, I would still like to be honest with you because if we genuine fans do not have hard conversations that reach the right ears, then who will?

Me getting a free ticket is not more important than MI coming back on track and showing on the field why we are the biggest T20 franchise on the planet.

Many among us are going through tough times in our personal lives, some are probably worried about jobs, some are probably medically ill, some are probably having anxiety issues and depression and trying to survive every single day. In all this, cricket becomes the biggest escape and therapy for a lot of people.

Wins and losses are part and parcel of the game. Every franchise has a high point and a low point and we are willing to ride with the team on every possible journey. But we draw the line when it comes to "lack of effort"

We are familiar with how MI always knows how to make comebacks. But in each of those years, the initial losses were close. There was a purpose..we could see the players are trying everything and playing for the badge even in 2022 and 2024 when we finished last.

The lack of effort disappoints us. Mistakes repeating disappoints us. We are in Big 2026 and you cannot be scoring below 200 in good batting conditions because games like today will happen.

Players batting out of positions, lack of intent in PP, lack of wicket taking options like Bumrah, lack of planning lack of trying to put in hidden gems like Mohammed Izhar into the mix and sticking to same old formula that is not working.

We agree with what Hardik Pandya said after the game that tough conversations need to be made and individuals need to be questioned. They are not playing for any small franchise. They are playing for the biggest and the most successful franchise ever.

What Rohit Sharma had built with so much love and affection is slowly getting disintegrated. It is tough to watch that teams no longer fear Mumbai when playing at the Wankhede.

Make tough calls. Be Brave. The only reputation you need to worry about is not of the individuals but of the legacy of the badge.

Hoping to see a reaction against GT. It is a sincere request from a genuine fan. The result does not matter..but please play for the badge.

Play for Mumbai. Play for every single broken fan who is making their way to Marine Lines station to make the long journey back home. Play for Millions back home glued to their TV sets who kept supporting MI no matter who the captain was.
