So how are we all feeling about Mark Carney's plan to tax our home equity? All those seniors out there who worked hard and lived frugally for decades to pay off their homes (the only real asset many of us have)... Now we'll owe money on it again.

And for those on fixed income who can't keep up with the Home Equity Tax, the govt will put a lien on your home to collect from your estate after your death, which will halt the ability to pass a home down through the family...

Which is the goal, right? The end of private home ownership in Canada. You will own nothing, and you will be happy. Thanks Mark Carney!
