Even Cael sees that the edge of the mat is ridiculous right now. It's time. I think the best way to edge towards what we want is just call a stall every time someone goes OOB. But go back to warning and 1pt to infinity (no DQ).
@powers_of_psu You're making a lot of assumptions based on the clip you posted along w your message... unless the longer interview beyond this :36 sec clip you posted says something more, your 3rd pt is a big stretch
@IBlackmailLands@adamtirapelle I want step outs, but i also agree with this take as well. No sympathy for wrestlers that step on the gas for 20s of the 7 minute match and lose in this manner.
@wittmer0313@adamtirapelle I'm fine with ppl disagreeing w me, I get why Folkstyle purists dislike the pushout
I think a last point wins forces action from the begining of the 3rd and is easier to understand for a casual fan than what we currently have
Overall tho, your comment adds zero value to the convo
@adamtirapelle Correct. 1-1 will happen far less with the pushout. Wrestlers will either 1. Circle in which will cause more TD attempts/scores or 2. Give up pushouts worth 1 point rather than circle back into an attack leading to less 1-1 3rd period matches.
@MattHayesCFB The most upset people on this app about this decision are you big time news people... it looks like ND is getting exactly the response they wanted out of you guys
@briancrice@mhyland18 Sounds like the perfect opportunity for player-coach development like you say in response to multiple other tweets. Suspiciously hypocritical
Well SEC, after not even making the NC the last two seasons, you have 50% of the field teams (not counting Tulane or James Madison), if you fail to win the NC or even make the game, I don't want to hear another word about your superiority. The entire playoff is wrongly slanted towards a league that just isn't dominant right now.
@RedditCFB Money matters more than anything else (including winning) in CFB rn. So ND took the thing they still had that was most valuable from the CFB. Great decision on their part

@ESPNBooger It’s a meaningless bowl game on the network that had a hand in making sure they were not in the playoffs. Why should they show up and make them money?
