Our comrades have arrived at Kanyanya Magistrates Court in high spirits for their bail application hearing today.
Eddie Mutwe, Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, Doreen Kaija and others have spent nearly a year on remand on charges of unlawful drilling linked to a birthday parade at NUP headquarters. No trial has started.
Justice delayed is justice denied. Free all political prisoners.

Patriotism should not be about military training. Leaders must show patriotism by example; don’t be corrupt, respect the constitution, treat citizens right, etc. Leaders must be patriotic, even as they demand the citizens to be patriotic.
During the campaigns, young people were brutalised for simply holding the national flag, yet Government is now saying it wants to teach them patriotism!
