@cosmicfangz as someone with a very queer gender, prob. some endocrine stuff, and who loves learning (esp. abt science and biology in particular), I am very grateful and appreciative of the people who share this information (esp. since it sometimes helps me know abt things I'm dealing with)
@cosmicfangz Every day, I learn more about biology, and it's fascinating. I've never learned more about the human body than I have after I learned about trans people. Having more open conversations about gender and sex has allowed for so much more information to be shared, and I love it
@Notforyousirrrr @turnintoabat@Lurk1053620 Damn, illiteracy must be even more pervasive than I thought, considering your conclusion is wrong on both accounts.
this is very good for your literacy btw
don't be ashamed to frequently google words you don't know, it's better to learn now instead of giving up
especially in an age where literacy rates are at an all time low
@space_raccoon05@lesbianlifts @loe_and_behold Simplifying everyone else's replies down to two words: gender *expression*
(idk how to emphasize "expression" without seeming a bit aggressive(?) about it, but I swear it's not meant to be lol)
This is what my therapist discusses as: when you stand up for yourself, when you heal yourselfโit is ALWAYS healthier for everyone in your circles. They may not like it, they may hate it and fight itโbut you being healthy forces healthier systems on everyone youโre connected to.
