JUST IN: Asser Nendongo (30), who was arrested in February in connection with the fatal shooting of Windhoek bouncer David Vilyo Mbida, was granted bail earlier today by the Katutura Magistrate’s Court in the amount of N$5 000.
Nendongo faces a single charge of murder. He is alleged to have fatally shot Mbida at a Windhoek bar in Wanaheda last month following a dispute over N$30 entrance fee. He was represented by his lawyer Kadhila Amoomo.

The charges are linked to a multimillion-dollar advertising contract awarded by Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) in 2012, while Conradie was the chairperson of MTC's board of directors.
