I read #anightdivided by Jennifer A. Nielsen to the kids over the weekend. It was difficult to put down. Brilliantly done. I remember when the Berlin Wall came down. This book takes you to when it went up. The characters are believable & the plot is both chilling and exciting.

the *worst* way to get kids interested in books is to force them to read books they don’t like.

if they like stories about wizards, don’t make them read novels about a middle-aged man having an affair. readers are made by finding a story and falling in love with it.
