@phxbizjournal I'm glad that @hughhallman and @MrXavierAG & others were able to make their points yesterday at the @Tempe_Wins rally. I trust the people of #Tempe to see this stupid stunt by @PHXSkyHarbor as the 🤡 show it is. We'll vote YES on 301, 302,303. #TempeWins

@DoctorRhetorica This is an environmental harm? But the other 30 skyscrapers going up on the lake are not? It's a flight safety concern to have a 16k seat arena, but 200 yards away is the 3k seat center for the arts, and a 50k stadium a mile away? These are old tiring arguments.
@DoctorRhetorica It's okay to not want the arena, it's your right. I support that. I don't support BS arguments that can be spun either way depending on the POV a voter takes. This arena has just as much good, if not more, than it does bad.
@Tempe1st@CityofPhoenixAZ@Tempegov Again, thank you for the response, but Kuby is a part of Tempe 1st and GPLETs have been a major focal point of this campaign so her approval of so many other GPLETs but not this one begs an explanation.
Translation: City of Phoenix doesn’t want Tempe to build up Tempe Town Lake or build this entertainment district because it will rival or maybe surpass downtown.
Fail to protect Sky Harbor and the community? C’mon man…
@PHXSkyHarbor You know the proposal is legal and complies with the IGA and the residentual use. You also know @Tempegov is perfectly capable of running our city. Stay in your own lane so that we can all get along and continue "protect" OURSELVES. #TempeWins
