Through all the Abstract FUD this week, I think it's important to realize the true cost of running a chain

Having spent 3 years working at one of the largest infra companies managing infra for 80+ chains, I can promise you these cost numbers aren't exaggerated

Between explorers, oracles, RPCs, wallet integrations, indexers, provisioning liquidity, etc this easily becomes a massive cost undertaking

Launching a token with little demand and and continuing to run Abstract at a steep operating loss would have been one of the least responsible things that Luca and team could have done

Sure, shutting down a chain is a painful decision, but it takes courage to admit when you're wrong.

And in the long run, this will likely be better for investors + Pudgy holders
