I sailed to Hawaii, with one other person on an Islander 44 sailboat when I was 18 years old.

One night, (we were about 1700 miles from California), there was no moon and no clouds, and we turned off the lights in the boat. No other boats or land was around.

The Milky Way was above us, but because there was no light pollution over the ocean, it was a pure, creamy white carpet of sparkling stars; you could not see any darkness within it--it was so spectacular, so beautiful, and so close that it took my breath away. I felt drenched in the utter abundance of the Milky Way.

At the same time, there was a meteor shower to our starboard side. We had a 360-degree view of the black ocean around us, so we saw thousands of falling meteors, like golden rain, shooting into the sea for hours.

Also, we noticed that we were sailing through phosphorescence and that the wake of the boat and the sides of the boat were all lit up in glowing light. We sailed through this phosphorescence for hours.

And then, something I did not even know existed: flying fish, lifting out of the phosphorescence, all lit up themselves, and flew over our boat, and alongside our boat, dripping sparkling light as they flew over us. This went on the whole night...

This universe does everything it can to surprise and delight us! YUM! Thank you, universe, for this exquisite light show! Thank you for the opportunity to see something so beautiful, so powerful, and so unique! I love you!

This was not our boat, but it is an Islander 44.

Donald Trump
The Democrats hate him. Canada hates him. Mexico hates him. Iran hates him. The media hates him. China hates him. Europe hates him.

They all hate him because they can’t buy him. They can’t control him. But you can bet your ass they all Respect him. He doesn’t back down to no one, and doesn’t give a rats ass what you think. He will always put America and the people within first. They hate him for it. They despise him for it. He put the world on notice and sent a distinct message, no one fucks with the United States.

His job isn’t a popularity contest. His job is the Presidency of the United States. The most powerful nation on the planet and he is showing the world exactly that.

He was sent here to not only restore our America but to drain the Swamp filled with all the rats who are responsible for bringing this country to its knees. A country filled with corruption, division and hate, on the verge of the abyss, summoned this man with powers from above to fix the mess left behind by the Evil who wanted it all for themselves.

First we finish the war in Iran, then all focus must be here at home. With midterms looming it is time for a major cleanup. We can’t afford to continue to kick the can down the road with nothing being done. My trust is always with Trump. Trump always has a plan. Minnesota was run like a personal ATM. Walz, Ellison and Omar have been exposed. Not good enough. They need to be prosecuted. This country is starving for accountability. Our midterms depend on it. Trump’s presidency going forward depends on it.

He will be doing exactly that. This is who the American people overwhelmingly voted for. This is why the American people proudly stand tall with him. Trump put us first and we will always have his back till the end for it. We never forget. We owe this man a debt that can never be repaid. He has our loyalty.

We are MAGA. No one fucks with our President and no one fucks with our country. I couldn’t be more prouder to be a part of this MAGA Movement. Trump was chosen for a reason and he is doing even more than anyone could’ve ever expected. Trust the process. This is exactly who I voted for. In God We Trust. In Trump We Persevere. I don't know if trees have egos but an elder once told me about “shaman trees”.

Something about how the oldest tree in any given forest — which is connected to every other tree through the roots system, mycelium network, chemical signals in the air, etc — has effectively absorbed or acquired the "knowledge" provided by every other tree in the forest over the course of its life, and as such, is acknowledged by the other trees as “the one who knows” (which is itself the definition of the word shaman).

Until, eventually, it dies and the forest organizes its "signal" around a new wise tree where the living, millenary, collective wisdom of the forest will continue.
