@LenaVandross No one would risk a life-destroying defamation suit like that by lying. And Matt Rife is blocking everybody who posts the video. A little suspicious. lol I don’t think he’s lying.
@TNChaska@barstoolsports That’s what I was thinking. Forget school; they need to get this creature a Defensive Lineman scholarship. Pure strength and aggression.
@Marc_regal@TheLostieLost@OnlyRepDesigner@JennaLaineESPN That’s probably true. There are a lot of people who hate watch. There’s probably a lot of both. I mean these dudes have millions of followers on Twitter alone. So they obviously have at least some people who like them. Lol
@TheLostieLost@OnlyRepDesigner@JennaLaineESPN If there were not a demand for reporters there would not be a supply. ESPN would not pay them what they do. And they would not have jobs. Someone out there cares a ton about them. A lot of people do.
@TheLondonHughes Cleverly said… except that London and England in general are led by very dark-skinned people. So… yeah. Race-baiting doesn’t work in this situation.
@Toure It isn’t about race. Remember, no one knew she was black until she told them. If you have to tell someone you’re black, you’re not black. You want it to be about race because that gets clicks, but… maybe… she’s just not a very good person.
@donahuecdreal @biden_falls @JennaLaineESPN Like I’ve told so many others in this thread: if there weren’t a market demand for reporters, there wouldn’t be reporters. ESPN isn’t dumb. They wouldn’t put reporters out there if tons of people didn’t want to see their work. You may not watch reporters. Millions of others do.
@blkthoughtz@JennaLaineESPN But think about it. They play football… in stadiums with 60, 70, 80 thousand people. Who pay to watch. And then also for cameras, for people who want to watch. If there were no ability for people to watch them play, they wouldn’t get paid.
@CGawrylczyk@JennaLaineESPN There’s some new ants here. The main reason the NFL makes money and conducts pay players is because of people at home who want to watch it, or at bars, etc. It’s the TV and streaming rates where the real money comes in. Without TV or streaming, the NFL would make a tiny tiny
@Steelers5821 @matthew_shirts @buckner__86@JennaLaineESPN Sure. Because there is a demand for people like us who want to lay on the couch and watch these players (I like eating a good snack while I watch haha) it necessitates in the media, from cameras to reporters, to bring that experience to us. A symbiotic relationship.
@JonTheHammerHa@JennaLaineESPN But you have to ask the larger question, why do the reporters want to talk to the players? Because people want to see the players talk. Again, supply and demand, the main reason reporters exist. There is a market for it, a demand for it. And while it annoys some people, there
