@Martyupnorth Simple answer.
Carney is diversifying the economy and building relationships with other countries.
This isn’t an over night process but the pay off will be huge.
@Tablesalt13 Then they moved on to Pierre he is similarly far right as Max but Pierre was more established and had a following the pushed him through.
Pierre screwed himself with his relentless attack on Trudeau. People wanted change but they also didn’t want the negative attitude.
@Tablesalt13 Max wouldn’t have won in a general election either he was too far right.
Problem is Sheer flip flopped on key issues late in the game and Trudeau pulled out a minority government. So they moved on to O’Toole who was more consistent but still couldn’t get it done.
@truckdriverpleb@RealAlbanianPat lol this is first decided voters and this also would give the Liberals a pretty healthy majority if an election was held today.
This also is about party and not preferred PM where Carney leads Pierre by about 25 to 30 points.
@Marc26922170@mario4thenorth It’s funny many unionized trades workers hate the government, ironically 90% of the work they do is funded by government and taxpayers.
@Marc26922170@mario4thenorth Your point? You would the trades? Unionized labor? They often jump all over the country and easy verification of ones qualifications will make it easier for trades people to earn what they should.
@Andrew99Cher@mario4thenorth lol you have been bitching about censorship for years now and here you are still talking and complaining and nothing happens to you.
In the US an officer was caught on a hot mic criticizing Trump and was fired the next day.
You have no idea what you are talking about.
@mario4thenorth Does it not bother you that Trump seems unable to honour deals? Fact is the deal Carney talked about is actually accurate. There are just additional issues that were added that he got tripped up on. A mistake? Ya the guy has a million things going on.
@mario4thenorth An additional factor nobody seems to talk about is the fact that Harper agreed to build this bridge for $6.5 billion and didn’t have an iron clade deal in place to ensure we get paid first.
@mario4thenorth You are lying here yourself.
I watch the CBC and they questioned the deal from the start and pushed for more details repeatedly. Not one time did they suggest the PM was accurate in his statement they simply stated the details as they were released.
@ABDanielleSmith@nenshi There is absolutely zero proof that this is an accurate statement.
Where would they go as an alternative? Shipping it in with tankers wouldn’t be cheaper even if we added an export tax.
A $2 dollar a barrel tax would add $10 million a day in revenue $300 million a month
@TheTrut04639288@BertaProudDad@PierrePoilievre For what? I wasn’t aware nature required our supervision.
Talk about a grift, let’s do forest management because nobody is better for the environment than humans.
Deadfall wasn’t a problem for the first 25 to 30 years of my life but now it is? What is involved in that?
@mark_slapinski Apparently people don’t understand to produce oil it requires many things. Large population to use the resources or a large capacity to stop the product and also pipelines to move it various places
