@forgottenprose @emailmyremail @shaun_vids I’m solidly built, and I eat a lot even in a deficit and still am losing. I’ve put on a lot of muscle. When I was clinically obese I just didn’t know what to do, but what I wrote above did the trick. 10k steps. Small deficit. 0.7 G protein / pound of bw. Weights 3x week

@forgottenprose @emailmyremail @shaun_vids I used to be extremely obese 5’3, 105kg. Calorie counting has allowed me to get to a more healthy weight and a much better quality of life. It can be dangerous if you don’t know how to do it, but long term weight loss with a small deficit of 500 calories or so is perfectly 👍

@JeffNippard Hi Jeff, wanted to reach out and thank you for your videos. I starting working out to look like Korra (see gif). I started in an ok place as I got advice from an exercise physiologist and they made me a basic plan. But your videos helped me fine tune my plan and adjust my diet 🙏

@WeekesPrincess For intellectually impaired ppl especially body language can b misinterpreted by professionals as deception, when really it’s related to their impairment and stress. Leading to harsher unethical interrogation methods, leading to false confessions by disadvantaged groups.

@WeekesPrincess I study masters in forensic mental health. For psychiatrists, psychologists, police etc little better than chance to detect lies. In fact, the longer police serve, more likely they are to think ppl are lying. Unstructured clinical judgment little better than chance.
